In India, weddings are are usually a grand affair. There's
scrumptuous food, gorgeous clothes, shopping & more shopping
and of course, thoroughly teasing the bride/bridegroom.
A number of rituals are observed during the marriage ceremony
and in the soirées before and after the wedding. Each
community has their own distinct ceremony and rituals. But,
whatever the differences, the air of rejoicing is always the
same.
