Recently he won 1^st place for group song eastern and 3^rd place for group song western in the inter university south zone youth festival 2001 held at Mangalore. He also won 2^nd place for group song eastern in the national youth festival, 2002 held at Amritsar. Currently he is doing M. Com in Sacred Heart's College Thevara. His passion for music doesn't mean that he takes his studies less seriously. In fact, he has excellent academic records. He passed year 10 with a distinction (above 80% marks in all subjects) and he finished his B.com (Bachelor of Commerce degree) and graduated with a first class. When he is not singing he is usually seen playing the keyboard for live shows and musical recordings.
