Philosophy

The question "What is philosophy?" is a philosophical question in its own right. Literally speaking, the word 'philosophy' is Greek for "love of wisdom". Popularly, the word is used to mean any form of wisdom or any person's perspective on life.

In India, the Sanskrit word for 'philosophy' is 'darshana' which means 'view' or 'standpoint'. The aim of Indian philosophy is simple : liberation, freedom from deluded views, mental illusions and delusions, confused ideal, fuddled thinking. It is a deep spiritual therapy.
