THE NEVER NEVER LAND

Daydreaming is a part of a child’s growth.

We should not stop someone from dreaming.

I sit in the classroom day dreaming of defeating the tennis player whom I adore – who else but Steffi Graf! I work wonders by playing with all my soul and Steffi standing with her heart in her mouth. My imagination went wild. Suddenly, I have the prep teacher’s cane banging on my desk to make me alert and come out of my best dreams of tennis. And guess what! I think the cane to be a tennis racquet and I just caught hold of it with delight. I open my eyes wide and woof! It’s a cane ! Just out of my dreams

Daydreaming is a part of a child’s growth. We should not stop someone from dreaming. Only when we have dreams, can we make them come true. A young boy, may be sitting and dreaming of breaking the record of Kapil’s 432 wickets. What about girls? They are no less trying to excel the glamorous model Meher Jessia.

Why do daydreams occur? One creates daydreams in order to comfort a disappointed heart. Most of the fiction we read deals with a curious mixture of crime and love in which we enjoy the thrills that daily life fails to give. Daydreams make us feel what we may not be able to accomplish in reality.

So dear friends, do daydream, but hope none of you have a horrible experience of catching the cane like me, that too during the prep time!
