Mmmm...another favorite...and here's how to make it.

Ingredients

Quantity

Malabari gravy

1000 ml

surmai or pomfret fish

1000 gms

salt

to taste

red chilli powder

10 gms

coconut oil

15 mls

garam masala

10 gms

green cardamom powder

1 gm

lime juice.

30 ml

Clean, cut and wash fish.

Pat dry, marinate the fish in lime juice, chilli powder, salt, garam masala and coconut oil and keep aside for 30 minutes.

Take a baking tray, grease it with a little oil, put marinated fish and bake it in pre-set oven at 150 degrees C for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, boil the Malabari gravy and mask the fish with it.

Bake for another 5 minutes and allow it to cool for 5 minutes.

Sprinkle with cardamom powder and serve hot.
