Peel, wash and cut potatoes into
small cubes (1/2 cm x 1/2 cm). sprinkle some salt and keep aside
for 15 minutes. fry in hot oil till golden brown.
Heat a little oil, add mustard,
fenugreek, whole chilies (deseeded) and asafoetida. grind to a
fine paste.
Mix tamarind juice and ground
masala.
Mix fried potatoes and tamarind
paste.
Check the seasonings and serve hot.
