The coastal location and the vast network of backwaters has resulted in the significant presence of seafood in our cuisine. One of our favorite varieties of fish is  Karimeen or pearl spot. It is a flake oily fish found both in the sea as well as backwater and generally used only in Kerala. Karimeen fry is a local delicacy. Not to mention Kerala’s famous fish curry. Make sure you check out these seafood delights !
