Ok, now this is how you make Vattayappams.
Refined flour
16 tblsp
Fine bread crumbs
12 tblsp
Sugar
Ghee
Ginger powder
1 or 2tsp
Milk
1 cup
Baking powder
2 tsp
Cashew
optional
Salt
to taste
Blend all the ingredients together and steam cook in a pressure cooker or a double boiler till the batter becomes firm. Vattayappam's are sweet and are usually taken without any accompaniments, but they go very well with a spicy gravy. Back
